Bridget K. Dorney is an attorney at the Firm practicing in the Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation, Bankruptcy and Real Estate Tax Appeals Departments. Ms.
Dorney joined the firm as an associate after receiving her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2006.  While attending law school, Ms. Dorney worked at the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Newark.  While there, she performed legal research and writing in connection with competency hearings, and re-sentencing and pre-trial motions.  Ms. Dorney also worked as a law clerk for the firm throughout her tenure at Seton Hall. 

Prior to law school, Ms. Dorney obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree in History and Political Science at Fordham University in New York.  Ms. Dorney was an active member of the college community, earning Division I varsity letters for her participation in both the Cross County and Track and Field teams.   She also earned recognition as a Dean’s scholar for each year of her attendance. Before joining the firm, Ms. Dorney served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Anthony J. Mellaci, J.S.C.  Ms. Dorney is a lifelong resident of Monmouth County.
