Douglas Katich is the Chairman of Intellectual Property Protection and Litigation Department and is also a member of the Commercial Litigation Department. Mr. Katich’s litigation practice is concentrated in the areas of complex commercial litigation in matters of business tort, patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition and trade secret cases. Mr. Katich has vast experience prosecuting U.S. federal trademarks and negotiating and drafting complex license agreements in the field of entertainment and for a wide range of technologies including: technology patents, application service providers, software, website development and trademarks. Mr. Katich has been representing clients with regard to their intellectual property needs for his entire legal career and has been an international lecturer on topics relating to intellectual property licensing and litigation. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from DePauw University and his Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law. He is a Councilman for the Borough of Fair Haven, NJ (2004 to present) and was a former member Fair Haven Zoning Board of Adjustments (2001 to 2004). He is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Illinois.
