James G. Aaron chairs the Commercial Litigation, Bankruptcy, and Municipal Law Departments of the firm. Mr. Aaron has been a member of the bar for over 36 years and has served simultaneously as the City Attorney for both the City of Long Branch and the City of Asbury Park. He is the only attorney in the history of the state of New Jersey to represent both these cities at the same time. Currently Mr. Aaron serves as the City Attorney for the City of Long Branch as well as Special Waterfront Redevelopment Counsel for the City of Asbury Park. Mr. Aaron is a Founder and Director of Central Jersey Bank, N.A., a federally chartered institution. Mr. Aaron was recently appointed as a Commissioner of the New Jersey Racing Commission. Mr. Aaron served as a law clerk to the late Honorable Leon S. Milmed. Mr. Aaron is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of New York and is licensed to appear before the United States Court of Claims.
