Richard B. Ansell is Senior Partner and Chairman of the Civil Litigation and Personal Injury Department. He received his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Virginia and has concentrated his practice in the field of civil litigation, particularly personal injury litigation. Mr. Ansell is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, and has been the attorney responsible for major Supreme Court and Appellate Division decisions in the areas of medical malpractice and products liability, among others.

Mr. Ansell is a past member and Chairman of the District IX Ethics Committee; a Master of the Haydon Proctor American Inn of Court; sustaining fellow of the Rosco Pound Institute; member of the President's Club of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America; Senior Counsel member of the American College of Barristers; member of the Million Dollar Advocated Forum; member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America & New Jersey; member of Trial Attorneys of New Jersey; and member of New Jersey State Bar Association and Monmouth Bar Association. He has lectured in the fields of negligence law, products liability law, medical malpractice, accident and personal injury and trial techniques. Mr. Ansell has actively served on many civic, charitable and religious organizations.
