ANSELL ZARO GRIMM & AARON, P.C. offers a strong and highly specialized Municipal Court Defense Department headed by partners Mitchell J. Ansell and Brian E. Ansell. Each partner routinely appears in Municipal Courts throughout the State and have established strong working relationships with Municipal Prosecutors and local and State law enforcement agencies involved in prosecuting municipal court matters. Such relationships are often important in achieving an optimum result for our clients.

Mitchell J. Ansell and Brian E. Ansell have extensive experience in handling every type of motor vehicle charge and disorderly persons offense venued in our State's Municipal Courts.
Motor vehicle offenses may include:
driving while intoxicated
driving without insurance
driving with a suspended license
leaving the scene of an accident
reckless and careless driving
speeding
all other moving violations
Disorderly persons offenses may include:
possession of under 50 grams of marijuana
simple assault
harassment
disorderly conduct
trespassing
all other non-felony offenses

Both partners, Mitchell J. Ansell and Brian E. Ansell, have served as Municipal Prosecutors in several municipalities throughout Monmouth County. Each partner resigned their Municipal Prosecutor positions in January 2001 when a change in State law prohibited attorneys from acting as municipal prosecutor and defense attorney in the same county. Our clients and defense needs have always come first and each partner's experience as a Municipal Prosecutor has only bolstered our ability to minimize traffic points assessed against our clients and achieve optimum results.

The Municipal Court Defense Department prides itself on accessibility which is often needed in this area of law. Messrs. Ansell are available twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days a week, to serve clients' needs in the event of emergencies.
